Easy Pork Ribs Recipe

EASY PORK RIBS RECIPE with low histamine option Makes 3-4 servings

  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt

  • 1 teaspoon thyme

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1 teaspoon mustard

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne

  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin

  • 2 Tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 lb. pork ribs

  • 3/4 cup water

Low histamine version

  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt

  • 1 teaspoon thyme

  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice

  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard seeds

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon cayenne

  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin

  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 lb. pork ribs

  • 3/4 cup water

Directions:

  1. Mix together in a small bowl all the ingredients except the pork ribs and water.

  2. Rub spice mixture all over the pork ribs making sure to cover all sides. Optional: You can cover and marinate over night for more flavor.

  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  4. Put the ribs in a Pyrex glass baking that fits them, depending on the shape and size of the ribs a 9x9 inch might work otherwise use a 9x13 inch dish. Pour the water in the dish and put uncovered in the preheated oven for 1 hour 20 minutes - 1 hour 30 minutes.

  5. Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes to cool before eating. Enjoy as is or with your favorite BBQ sauce.

  6. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator in a airtight container for up to 3 days.

Optional: Save the bones and store in the freezer to make bone broth.
