Basil Garlic Dressing
Make sure that you crush the garlic and let sit before using. This activates an enzyme that make the organosulfur compounds more bio-available and able to withstand heat better (1).
Basil Garlic Dressing Recipe Makes 1 2/3 cups.
1 cup packed fresh basil 3 cloves garlic 1 Tablespoon coconut aminos 1 teaspoon mustard 3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar 1 cup extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil
Directions:
Cut off the tops and crush the garlic cloves and let sit for 10 minutes.
Put all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Store in a air tight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
