Easy Pork Ribs Recipe
EASY PORK RIBS RECIPE with low histamine option Makes 3-4 servings
1 teaspoon fine sea salt
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 teaspoon cumin
2 Tablespoon olive oil
1 lb. pork ribs
3/4 cup water
Low histamine version
1 teaspoon fine sea salt
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1 teaspoon ground mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4-1/2 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 teaspoon cumin
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1 lb. pork ribs
3/4 cup water
Directions:
Mix together in a small bowl all the ingredients except the pork ribs and water.
Rub spice mixture all over the pork ribs making sure to cover all sides. Optional: You can cover and marinate over night for more flavor.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Put the ribs in a Pyrex glass baking that fits them, depending on the shape and size of the ribs a 9x9 inch might work otherwise use a 9x13 inch dish. Pour the water in the dish and put uncovered in the preheated oven for 1 hour 20 minutes - 1 hour 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes to cool before eating. Enjoy as is or with your favorite BBQ sauce.
Store any leftovers in the refrigerator in a airtight container for up to 3 days.
Optional: Save the bones and store in the freezer to make bone broth.
